The school's admission number is 30 per year group. Children are admitted in to Nursery class between September and the October half term during the year in which they will be 4. Their entry is staggered to give the children the best opportunity to settle in. Children are admitted to the main school in the Reception class in the September before their 5th birthday. The children attend part-time for the first Z weeks (one week for the morning plus lunch, the other week just the afternoon). By the third week they will attend all day.
Children are admitted to the Nursery and the Primary school in accordance with the Admissions Policy provided by Gateshead Council. This information is available in school. Please contact the school if you wish to have you child considered for a place either in the Nursery or the main school. You are most welcome to look around the school before making a decision.
Transfer to secondary school is in the September after a child is 11 years old. Parents have the opportunity to visit all the secondary schools in the previous Autumn term. Full details of the arrangements are sent to parents at this time.
